POSITION: Prems - HEAD COACH

St Clair United Soccer Club - Men’s Premier League 2015

St Clair United is seeking applicants for the role of Head Coach for Men’s Premier League for the 2015 season. Strikers has had a successful Premier League 1 team in the NFA competition for over 5 years and is committed to improving this team so that it continues to be successful, promotes the values of the Club and is a pathway for the Clubs younger members to elite football.

Head Coach

The Head Coach is responsible for the management and development of the entire PL squad (first and reserves) under the supervision of the Director of Coaches and the St Clair United Committee.

The Head Coach is required to balance on-field results with medium-term development and to help create a pathway structure for our junior players, and to mentor junior coaches.

The successful applicant will form part of a passionate team focussed on developing senior men’s football at the St Clair United. You will be given the support required to set a standard of success that will contribute to the club’s long-term ambitions.



Essential:

All applicants must satisfy the following:

  • Be committed to and passionate about the development of community football;
  • Be available to commit at least 12 - 15 hours per week to the program, plus pre-season commitments. This includes two training sessions and two games every week during the season: and
  • Have experience in the management of football and/or be suitably qualified to take such a role.

Key attributes:

  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Proven experience and qualifications in managing player development programs;
  • Understanding of, and practical experience in, the aims and methods of the FFA Curriculum;
  • Proven experience in driving a positive club culture;
  • Ability to devise and execute well-structured pre-season and in-season training programs;
  • Understanding of the commercial challenges faced by a community-based football club program;
  • A three-year vision for the program.

The position reports to the Director Of Coaches.

Training Resumes

St Clair Soccer will be holding train-on days in preparation for next Season starting on Wednesday 5th Nov @6.30pm this will be 2015 - U12, U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, U18 it will be each Wednesday night until Christmas...ALL WELCOME

Registration Days - 2015

Registration for 2015 will be open on online at www.myfootballclub.com.au on the 12/1/2015 all registrations are to be completed online all photos are to be uploaded for New players and players that are turning 6,9,12,15and18.  Payments can be made online or at the Registration Days which will start each Friday and Saturday from the 23/1/15 until the 31/1/15.  Please check the website and Facebook closer to the date for times.

Nepean Cup

St Clair has made Nepean Association history by both the Prem1 and Prem Res making the Nepean Cup Final this game will be held on the 17th September, 2014 at Cook Park 7.00pm kickoff, it would be great to see you there cheering on both teams...
